It contains the active ingredient bromhexine hydrochloride, which works by thinning and loosening thick mucus in the chest, making it easier to cough up and clear congestion. Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5 mL three times a day when necessary. For the first 7 days, this can be increased to 10 mL three times a day if needed.
Children 6–11 years: Take 5 mL three times a day only on advice of a healthcare professional.
Do not use in children under 6 years of age. A measuring cup is usually included for accurate dosing.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8 mg per 5 mL.
Other Ingredients: Benzoates, maltitol, sucralose, chocolate and cherry flavour, purified water.
