Home Essentials Clove Oil  Uses & Tips

Toothache support - Traditionally, clove oil has been used for toothache. Dilute two drops of Home Essentials Clove Oil with a teaspoon of Home Essentials Olive Oil, and pour on a cotton wool ball. Clamp down between teeth, to hold in place. Avoid contact with the skin or tongue. Only intended to provide temporary pain relief for toothache. Consult a dentist at first opportunity.

Natural antiseptic on minor scratches, skin irritations and to help protect against fungal infections. Use 2-3 drops of Home Essentials Clove Oil, per teaspoon of Home Essentials Almond or Olive Oil.

Mould remover 

Add 3mls of Home Essentials Clove Oil to a 1 litre spray bottle of water and spray all over the mould. Leave for a day and then scrub off. You will find this spray very useful for fighting mould in the bathroom and laundry, as well as for getting mould off the backs of curtains. You can then make up a spray of 20 drops each of Home Essentials Lavender Oil, Lemon and Tea-Tree Oil, to prevent the mould growing back.

Nasal balm 

Add 2 drops of Home Essentials Eucalyptus oil and 2 drops of Home Essential Clove oil to 2 tablespoons of petroleum jelly. Apply a dab under nose and rub a small amount into chest. Avoid application near the eyes.
