Description
Otrivin Adult Nasal Spray is a fast‑acting nasal decongestant designed to help relieve blocked and runny noses caused by colds, flu, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. It works by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the nasal passages, opening airways to help make breathing easier and reducing congestion quickly — often within minutes. Suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Directions
For adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: use 1 spray per nostril and up to 2–3 times daily as needed. Do not use more often than every 8–10 hours and do not exceed the recommended dosage. Before first use, remove the protective cap and press the applicator until an even spray is produced. Blow your nose gently to clear before spraying, insert nozzle into nostril and press firmly while sniffing. Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap after use.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 1 mg/mL.
Also contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative and other excipients such as sodium chloride, sodium phosphates, sorbitol, methylhydroxypropylcellulose and purified water.
Warnings
• Do not use if under 12 years of age.
• Not suitable if allergic to xylometazoline or any ingredient.
• Do not use after recent nose/mouth surgery or if you have inflammatory nasal dryness.
• If congestion persists for more than 3 days, stop use and seek medical advice.
• Brief stinging or sneezing may occur.
• Excessive use may damage the lining of the nose.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children and do not share between people for hygiene reasons.
