Guardian Pharmacy – Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how and when Guardian Pharmacy ships orders, delivery timeframes, costs, tracking, and important delivery conditions.


Order Processing

All orders placed through our online pharmacy are prepared by our trained pharmacy team once payment is received. In most cases:

  • Orders are packed and dispatched the same day or by the next business morning.

  • Delivery within New Zealand usually occurs within 1–2 business days after dispatch.

  • On occasion, items on backorder may delay dispatch by an extra 1–2 business days.
    We will notify you if this affects your order.


Delivery Methods

We use reputable carriers and fully tracked services for all dispatches:

  • New Zealand deliveries are sent using tracked courier services.

  • International deliveries are dispatched via standard AirMail, tracked air services, or express couriers, depending on the shipping option selected at checkout.
    Tracking information will be emailed to you once your parcel has been shipped.


Shipping Costs

New Zealand Standard Shipping:

  • Free standard shipping for orders over $100.

  • Flat-rate shipping of $5.99 for orders under $100.

  • Additional charges apply for selected services (e.g., rural delivery, signature required, or express options).

For some bulky or heavy products, additional freight fees may apply due to carrier weight and size limits. If so, we will advise you before dispatch.

International Shipping:

International shipping costs vary based on destination, parcel weight, and the shipping speed chosen at checkout. Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, and local fees are the responsibility of the recipient.


Delivery Timeframes (Approx.)

  • NZ Standard Delivery: Typically 1–2 business days after dispatch.

  • Overseas Delivery: Estimated delivery depends on destination and service selected (standard vs express). Timeframes will be shown at checkout and in your shipment tracking details.

Delivery estimates are guidelines only; once a package is with the courier, delivery times can vary due to local conditions, customs processing, weather, or peak demand periods.


Tracking & Signature Requirements

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has left our pharmacy.

Standard NZ deliveries do not require a signature unless requested.


Delivery Issues & Missing Parcels

If your order is not delivered or appears lost in transit:

  • Contact Guardian Pharmacy as soon as possible.

  • We will assist with tracking, carrier investigation, and where applicable, insurance claims.

  • Once a parcel is confirmed delivered by the carrier, liability for theft or loss after delivery transfers to the recipient.


Customs, Duties & Import Charges

International orders may be subject to customs clearance, duties, or taxes levied by your country. These are not included in the purchase price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before ordering.


Out-of-Stock Items

If a product you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you with options including:

  • Estimated restock and delayed dispatch

  • Suggested alternative products

  • Full refund where applicable
