Description
Enerlyte® Rehydration Salts are oral electrolyte sachets designed to help prevent and treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, traveller’s gastroenteritis, or excessive fluid loss. When mixed with water, the salts form a balanced oral rehydration solution that helps restore essential fluids and electrolytes such as sodium and potassium. Suitable for adults, children and infants when used as directed, Enerlyte provides fast and effective hydration support during illness or periods of fluid depletion.

Directions
Fill the enclosed measuring container to the 200 ml mark with fresh drinking water (for infants use freshly boiled and cooled water). Empty the contents of one sachet into the water and stir well before drinking.
Adults and children over 10 years: 1–2 sachets after each loose bowel motion, or up to 8–16 sachets in 24 hours.
Children 5–10 years: 1 sachet after each loose bowel motion, or up to 6–12 sachets in 24 hours.
Children under 5 years: Dose according to weight as directed on the packaging.

Each sachet contains:
Sodium Chloride BP 0.47 g
Potassium Chloride BP 0.30 g
Sodium Acid Citrate BP 0.53 g
Glucose BP 3.56 g
Warnings
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
Use water only to mix Enerlyte; do not mix with soft drinks, juice or cordial.
Do not boil the prepared solution.
Prepared solution may be refrigerated for up to 24 hours; discard unused solution within one hour if left at room temperature.
