Description
Gaviscon Dual Action Tablets provide fast, soothing, long‑lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion. This dual‑action formula works by neutralising excess stomach acid and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help prevent acid reflux and soothe burning in the chest after meals or at bedtime.

Directions
Adults and children 12 years and over: Chew 2–4 tablets thoroughly before swallowing after meals and at bedtime, up to four times per day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Children 6–12 years: Use only on medical advice. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients per tablet:
• Sodium alginate 250 mg – forms protective barrier (raft).
• Sodium bicarbonate 106.5 mg – neutralises excess stomach acid.
• Calcium carbonate 187.5 mg – neutralises acid and relieves discomfort.
Other ingredients may include xylitol, mannitol, aspartame (source of phenylalanine), flavouring, and other excipients.
Warnings
• Always read the label and use only as directed.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Products containing mannitol and xylitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Contains phenylalanine and sodium – consult a healthcare professional if on a restricted sodium diet or if you have phenylketonuria.
