Gaviscon Dual Action Tablets provide fast, soothing, long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion. This dual-action formula works by neutralising excess stomach acid and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help prevent acid reflux and soothe burning in the chest after meals or at bedtime.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over: Chew 2-4 tablets thoroughly before swallowing after meals and at bedtime, up to four times per day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Children 6-12 years: Use only on medical advice. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients per tablet:
• Sodium alginate 250 mg - forms protective barrier (raft).
• Sodium bicarbonate 106.5 mg - neutralises excess stomach acid.
• Calcium carbonate 187.5 mg - neutralises acid and relieves discomfort.

Other ingredients may include xylitol, mannitol, aspartame (source of phenylalanine), flavouring, and other excipients.

Warnings

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Products containing mannitol and xylitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Contains phenylalanine and sodium - consult a healthcare professional if on a restricted sodium diet or if you have phenylketonuria.
