GAVISCON Extra Strength Peppermint Tabs 60s are fast‑acting, chewable antacid tablets formulated to provide relief from the pain, burning and discomfort associated with heartburn (acid reflux) and indigestion. The extra strength formula contains a higher concentration of sodium alginate than original Gaviscon, helping form a protective “raft” barrier over stomach contents to help stop acid rising into the oesophagus and soothe symptoms quickly. These peppermint‑flavoured tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over when taken as directed.

Directions
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Chew 1–2 tablets as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day, or as directed by a healthcare professional. • Sodium Bicarbonate 267 mg
• Calcium Carbonate 160 mg
Contains phenylalanine, aspartame, mannitol, sulphites and sodium. Contains gluten from wheat (less than 20 ppm).
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for use in children under 12 years without medical advice. The maximum total daily intake of 8 tablets contains approximately 984 mg sodium; consult a healthcare professional if you are on a low‑sodium diet. Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. If symptoms persist or recur, or new symptoms appear, seek advice from a healthcare provider.
