Description
HIPREX 1g Tablets are an antibacterial urinary tract treatment containing methenamine hippurate, used mainly to suppress or prevent chronic and recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) by helping maintain a low urinary pH and creating an environment that inhibits bacterial growth. Unlike typical systemic antibiotics, HIPREX works locally in the urinary tract after being excreted in the urine, where it releases antibacterial formaldehyde in acidic conditions. It’s often used as maintenance therapy after initial infection has been treated or in people prone to frequent UTIs.

Directions
Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 tablet twice daily with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Children aged 6–12 years: Half to one tablet (500 mg–1 g) twice daily, or as advised by a doctor.
Take with a full glass of water and maintain good fluid intake while using this product.

Warnings
