Description
LAEVOLAC is very affective for chronic constipation. Lactulose solution encourages normal bowel movement.
For use in habitual constipation, portal systemic encephalopathy, hepatic coma & pre coma.
Ingredients:
Lactulose solution BP 3.34g/5ml
Dosage:
Habitual Constipation:
Initially: 15-45 ml as a single dose
Maintenance: up to 45ml in divided doses
Portal Systemic Encephalopathy, Hepatic coma & pre coma:
Initially: 30-50 ml 3x daily
Subsequently adjusting dose to produce two or three loose stools per day.
