Melolin Absorbent Dressings are soft, low-adherent wound dressings designed to provide comfortable protection and absorb wound fluid from minor cuts, grazes and abrasions.
Featuring an absorbent cotton and acrylic fibre pad with a low-adherent wound-contact layer, Melolin helps minimise sticking to the wound while absorbing exudate. This makes dressing changes more comfortable and helps protect the healing area.

Directions

Wash your hands before handling the dressing.

Gently clean the wound according to appropriate first aid practice.

Remove the dressing from its packaging.

Place the smooth, low-adherent surface directly against the wound.

Secure with suitable medical adhesive tape, a retention bandage or another appropriate dressing fixation product.

Replace the dressing as required, particularly if it becomes wet, soiled or saturated.
If the dressing adheres to the wound, moisten it with sterile saline before gently removing it.
Seek medical advice for deep, heavily bleeding, infected or non-healing wounds.
