Description
NUROFEN Child 7+ Chewable Orange 24s are chewable pain and fever relief capsules formulated specifically for children aged 7 years and above. Each orange‑flavoured soft chewable capsule contains ibuprofen — a non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drug (NSAID) — to help temporarily relieve mild to moderate pain (such as headaches, sore throats, earaches and toothache) and reduce fever associated with cold and flu symptoms. The chewable format makes it convenient for children who may find tablets difficult to swallow.

Directions
• 7 years – 10 years (avg. weight 22–32 kg): Two capsules per dose (maximum 8 capsules in 24 hours)
• 10 years – 12 years (avg. weight 32–40 kg): Three capsules per dose (maximum 12 capsules in 24 hours)
• Give doses every 6–8 hours as needed, with at least 6 hours between doses.
• Chew capsules thoroughly before swallowing. Encourage plenty of fluids during dosing.
• For short‑term use only.
Ingredients
• Ibuprofen 100 mg (active) per chewable capsule
Also contains excipients such as glucose, sucrose, sucralose, gelatin, lecithin and flavouring agents.
Warnings
• Do not exceed the stated dose. Excessive use can be harmful and may increase risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.
• Not suitable for children under 7 years of age.
• Seek medical advice before use in children with dehydration (diarrhoea/vomiting).
• Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs, or if history of stomach ulcers, kidney or liver impairment, heart failure, asthma worsening with NSAIDs or chickenpox.
• Use orally only — chew before swallowing.
• Do not use for more than 3 days unless directed by a healthcare professional.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking other medications, has medical conditions, or symptoms persist.
• Keep out of reach of children.
