Description
Nurofen Tablets 48s are a pain‑relief medication containing 200 mg of ibuprofen per tablet. They help provide fast, effective relief from mild to moderate pain, inflammation and fever. They are commonly used for headaches, muscular aches, period pain, back pain, dental pain, cold and flu symptoms, and fever reduction. Ibuprofen works by reducing the body’s production of prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation.

Directions
Take with water. Adults and children over 12 years: Initial dose 2 tablets, then 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Children 7–12 years: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as necessary (maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours). Do not give to children under 7 years.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Ibuprofen 200 mg.
Other Ingredients (may include): sucrose, sodium citrate, talc, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide, acacia, sodium lauryl sulfate, macrogol and printing ink.
Warnings
For oral use only. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not take if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Seek medical advice before use if you have asthma, stomach ulcers, heart, liver or kidney problems, or are taking other medication. Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor; discontinue if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
