Description
Otrivin F5 Moist Menthol Spray 10 ml is a fast‑acting nasal decongestant spray formulated with xylometazoline hydrochloride and refreshing menthol to help relieve blocked or congested nasal passages caused by colds, sinusitis, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis.

The menthol component provides a cooling sensation while the active ingredient works locally to shrink swollen nasal tissues, helping you breathe easier and clear mucus more effectively.

This nasal decongestant specially formulated with methanol provides quick relief from nasal congestion caused due to colds, sinus and allergies.

Active Ingredients:
0.1% xylometazoline hydrochloride; menthol; eucalyptus.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in children under 12
• Do not use if you have an allergy to xylometazoline, menthol or eucalyptus  
• Do not use if you have recently undergone trans-nasal surgery
• Do not use if you have narrow angle glaucoma

Precautions (check with pharmacist before use if any of the following apply):

• High blood pressure
• Heart disease
• Overactive thyroid
• Diabetes
• If you are taking any other medicines (especially monoamine oxidase inhibitors or tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants)
• Prolonged and/or excessive use
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Dosage:
Shake well before use.

Adults and children over 12: spray 1 spray into each nostril every 8 to 10 hours (2 to 3 times daily) up to a maximum of 3 times per day.

Warnings:
Do not use for more than three days in a row. If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice. Prolonged or excessive use of may cause stuffiness in the nose to return or worsen.

Common side effects: Dryness or irritation of the nasal mucosa, nausea, headache, local burning sensation.

Rare side effects: Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching), blurred vision, irregular or fast heartbeat.
