Description
PEVARYL Foaming Solution 1% is a medicated antifungal topical foam treatment designed for the short‑term treatment of fungal skin infections, including conditions such as Pityriasis versicolor (fungal discolouration), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm and other tinea or candidal skin complaints. Its active ingredient, econazole nitrate 1% w/w, works by inhibiting the growth and spread of fungi on the skin. This ready‑to‑use foam solution is usually applied nightly and left on the skin to help rapidly relieve symptoms and clear the fungal infection over a short course of treatment.

Directions

In the evening, shower or bathe and wash the affected areas and surrounding skin as usual.

Turn off the shower and apply the foaming solution to the skin and scalp as directed.

Rub in well for 3–5 minutes and allow the solution to absorb; do not rinse off.

Dry your hair if treated, then go to sleep with the solution still on.

Repeat this process for the next 2 evenings for a total of 3 applications.

Treatment can be repeated after 1 month and again after 3 months to help reduce the chance of recurrence.
If no relief is obtained after 1 week, stop use and consult a healthcare professional.
