Sodium Chloride 0.9 % Injection (sold under brands such as Fresenius Kabi/Sodium Chloride KABI) is a sterile isotonic saline solution containing sodium chloride (salt) in water for injection.
It’s provided in a single‑use 10 ml ampoule that is used in clinical and hospital settings to help replenish electrolytes (sodium and chloride) when needed, to dilute or dissolve injectable medicines safely, and as a sterile irrigation medium during medical procedures.
This clear and colourless solution is physiologically balanced to match body fluids.
