STREPSILS Plus Anaesthetic Loz 16s are medicated sore throat lozenges formulated to provide effective and rapid relief from painful, inflamed sore throats and mouth discomfort. These lozenges combine a local anaesthetic to numb pain with two antibacterial agents that help fight the bacteria which can contribute to sore throat and mouth infections, offering dual action soothing relief. Each lozenge dissolves slowly in the mouth to coat and calm irritated throat tissues.

Directions
Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as required. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in any 24‑hour period. If symptoms persist for more than two days or are accompanied by fever, headache or nausea, consult a healthcare professional.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients per lozenge:
• Lidocaine (Lignocaine) Hydrochloride monohydrate 10 mg – local anaesthetic
• Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2 mg – antibacterial agent
• Amylmetacresol 600 micrograms – antibacterial agent
Each lozenge also contains sugars (sucrose & glucose), saccharin and flavouring agents.
Warnings
• Not suitable for children 6 years and under.
• Do not eat or drink hot food or drinks soon after use; hot items may burn the mouth.
• Contains sugars and saccharin; monitor intake if on sugar‑restricted diets.
• If symptoms persist, worsen or new symptoms appear, seek medical advice.
