Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray
Vicks® First Defence is a clinically tested medical device designed to help support the body’s natural defences against common cold viruses. It is intended for use at the earliest signs of a cold or when you feel at risk after exposure to cold viruses.
The spray works locally in the nose, where cold viruses often enter the body, helping to reduce the likelihood that a mild irritation develops into a full cold.
How Vicks® First Defence works

Traps cold viruses in the nasal cavity using a protective micro-gel

Neutralises trapped viruses, limiting their ability to multiply

Helps remove inactivated viruses naturally through nasal clearance
When to Use

At the first signs of a cold, such as sneezing or throat irritation

After known exposure to cold viruses

During periods when you feel particularly vulnerable to catching a cold
Directions for Use
Use as soon as possible, ideally within 24–36 hours of the first symptoms.

Apply 2–3 sprays in each nostril, up to 4 times daily

Avoid deep inhalation during use

Angle the nozzle slightly outward toward the ear when spraying
For best results, continue use for 2 days after symptoms have resolved.
Ingredients
Aqua, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (1%), succinic acid (1%), disodium succinate (0.44%), PCA (0.35%), phenethyl alcohol, zinc EDTA, zinc acetate, polysorbate 80, menthol, camphor, sodium saccharin, eucalyptol.
